The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by General Kittisak Boonprathamchai, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army and Head of the Neighbouring Countries Coordination Centre (NCCC) of Army Operations Centre, at the parlour of the Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw, on 16 January.
During the call, both sides continued cordial discussions on plans to further promote existing friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and two armed forces. They also frankly exchanged views on further cooperation in peace and stability, rule of law, counter-terrorism, and exchange of information at border areas of both countries.
Also present at the call along with the SAC Member Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services were Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and senior military officers. The Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army was accompanied by senior military officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces and Military Attaché of the Royal Thai Army to Myanmar Senior Colonel Thanwit Yomchinda, it is reported.
