- The members of the medical corps must have to disseminate steps of healthy lifestyle at the places where they are assigned and organize the locals to pursue it.
- As Tatmadaw is ready to assist the people whenever natural disasters occur, it can be seen that medical officers and military personnel of the Directorate of Medical Services actively participated in the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation process of the storm victims.
- The Tatmadaw Medical Corps had arranged mobile medical vehicles, sea-going mobile hospital vessel and riverine naval hospital ship in 2023 to provide healthcare services to more than 900,000 local people who need surgical operations including dental and eye diseases, pediatric diseases, and common illnesses.
- CRPH, NUG, and so-called PDF terrorists, as terrorist groups declared by the State in accordance with the law, committed the persuasion of health staff, including medical doctors and nurses, to be CDMs with pressure and intimidation to stop the mechanism of healthcare services of the State.
- As some of the health staff breached the oath they had to follow, resulting the public’s healthcare measures affected. As such, military specialists, doctors and nurses from Tatmadaw had to serve there.
- Taking lessons from the worst incidents committed by terrorist groups over health staff, military medical officers and service personnel have to safeguard the people with healthcare services of medical knowledge as well as security awareness and political knowledge in the health sector.
- As the military hospitals were upgraded, Tatmadaw could perform kidney transplants, heart surgeries, pacemakers insertion, cardiovascular stent treatments, brain and thoracic surgeries for military officers, other ranks, their family members as well as civilians. And it is a great honor to see that these achievements have facilitated the efforts to promote the country’s health sector.
- To become good leaders who are physically and mentally strong, they need to constantly train themselves to have “wide knowledge and a kind heart”. Likewise, the good historical traditions of the Medical Corps must be maintained in accord with the motto “Physicians with rational thought and victorious soldiers”.
- They must apply medical knowledge taught by the DSMA, the birthplace of military doctors, and experience in providing healthcare services to ethnic people, Tatmadaw members, and families and raising their health awareness.
Afterward, the Senior General took the salutes of the cadet columns and left the military parade. Then, the Senior General met the cadets who achieved outstanding awards at the reception hall of the DSMA and gave a congratulatory speech as follows:
- Only when they will keep working hard, will they achieve success. It is necessary to continue to maintain such good basics in order that their ambition will not be lost and disappear on the journey of their life.
- They have to repay a good deed by valuing themselves for further improvement, and being dutiful in assigned duties with loyalty. They are to behave well in building their life to become success ones with good ethics for a human being.
