The State Administration Council (SAC) Information Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun made clarifications on the ongoing situation in the country on 11 and 12 December as follows;
- Officials of National Solidarity and Peace Making Negotiation Committee made negotiations with representatives from MNDAA, TNLA and AA groups to resolve the issues in political means via the help of People’s Republic of China. Further negotiations will be made based on the development.
- Media outlets backed by western countries, which oppose cordial China-Myanmar relations and peace as well as stability along the border areas, are broadcasting subversive propagandas regarding political dialogues.
- Pro-western media and western’s pivotal media outlets carrying out the act of utter devastation of Myanmar and aiming to emerge the government of stooge that they want and which provides them.
- Recently, NUG and PDFs are threatening and persuading civil servants and security personnel to join with them.
- From February 2021 to November 2023, NUG and PDF terrorist groups 92 monks, 88 education staff and 20 health staff. They also launched bombings and arson attacks on 55 hospitals/clinics, 773 educational buildings and over 600 communication towers.
- On 11 and 12 December, Bawdi Gone police station in Rakhine State was shelled from away. There were engagements at the junction in Kawkareik of Kayin State, in Namsang area of northern Shan State and eastern part of Tigyaing in Sagaing Region.
As regards IDPs, special efforts will be made for relocation, education and healthcare works. Further, utmost efforts will be made for betterment and stability of peoples’ socio-economic status after requirement will be fulfilled, it is reported.
