State Administration Council Information Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun Makes Clarifications on the Current Situation in Myanmar

The State Administration Council (SAC) Information Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun made clarifications on the ongoing situation in the country on 11 December as follows;

• Officials of National Solidarity and Peace Making Negotiation Committee made negotiations with representatives from MNDAA, TNLA and AA groups to resolve the issues in political means via the help of People’s Republic of China. Further negotiations will be made based on the development.
• On 11 December, Bawdi Gone police station in Rakhine State was shelled from away. There were engagements at the junction in Kawkareik of Kayin State.  

As regards IDPs, special efforts will be made for relocation, education and healthcare works. Further, utmost efforts will be made for betterment and stability of peoples’ socio-economic status after requirement will be fulfilled, it is reported.
