PDF terrorists are committing acts of terrorism in townships that do not support their group such as blowing up non-military targets of public roads and bridges, shelling, making drone attacks on wards as well as villages and setting fire to residents for no reasons.
On 4 December while a wedding ceremony was being held at the home of U Lin Maung, a resident of Payan Village in Shwebo Township of Sagaing region, PDF terrorists taking position from Kyauk Myint village about 3,000 metres to the south of Payan Village, launched a drone attack on the house. Due to the attack, two innocent women were killed and 13 locals including two seven-year-old children got shrapnel wounds.
The injured victims were transported to the Shwebo General Hospital and they are currently receiving treatment there. The local residents are disgusted at the inhumane acts of terrorism committed by PDF terrorists and the security personnel are taking necessary measures to ensure the security of the area, it is reported.
