Peaceable civilians have been supporting Tatmadaw personnel doing national defence and security duties, police force members, militiamen and their family members. In this context, on 3rd of December, some 2,000 people including peaceable monks in Myeik of Taninthayi Region held a rally to oppose and condemn the KIA, TNLA, MNDAA, AA and PDF terrorists of insurgents for their actions of utter devastation. The rally attendees also expressed strong support for military personnel doing national defence and security duties.
During the occasion, the participants opened the rally by singing the national anthem. The nationalist activists delivered public lectures on atrocities, violent killings and acts of terrorism committed by extremists of terrorists condemned the actions terrorist armed insurgents, it is reported.
