Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khine attended a forum on “Enhancing Connectivity and Sharing Prosperity: Achievements and Prospects of Aligning BRI with Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025” hosted by the ASEAN-China Centre in Vientiane and Luang Phabang of Lao People’s Democratic Republic from 26 to 29 November.
Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine highlighted that the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC2025) includes the establishment of sustainable infrastructures, development of digital technology and innovation, facilitation of transport sector, strengthening the rule of law and enhancement of regional connectivity. The China Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will promote cooperation between the People's Republic of China and ASEAN countries.
Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister left Luang Prabang in the afternoon of 29 November, and arrived back in Myanmar in evening.
