Myanmar’s Tatmadaw Shooting Team Stands Fourth in 31st ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet

The Myanmar’s Tatmadaw competed in the 31st ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM), which was held in Thailand from 20 to 24 November. A total of 25 shooters from Myanamr’s Tatmadaw team; five athletes in pistol team (men), five athletes in pistol team (women), five athletes in carbine team (men), five athletes in carbine team (women) and five athletes in machine gun team (men) competed in the events.

Myanmar’s Tatmadaw shooting team stood the fourth after securing eight gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals in total including five gold, four silver and five bronze medals in the team-wise competitions and three gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the shooting events of the 31st AARM.

The shooting team returned to Nay Pyi Taw by air on 25 November and was welcomed back by Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), it is reported.
