Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin received Mr. Wang Cheng (Sudhammamaṇijotadhara), Chairman of White Jade Wang Enterprise Co., Ltd. in Taiwan (Chinese-Taipei), at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 23 November.
During the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on the matters relating to the propagation of Buddha Sasana, undertaking of missionary works and plans to publish 40 books, Athakatha 51 books and Hlika 26 books of Tripitaka. Then, Mr. Wang Cheng offered cash donation to the fund for printing the Buddhism books and Maravijaya Buddha Image for the propagation of Buddha Sasana.
It was attended by Deputy Minister U Aye Tun and officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
