With the intent to ease the living hardship of local people and departmental officials who suffered loss and damage in the aftermath of Cyclone Mocha, military personnel from local units under Western Command have been selling food items with cheaper prices since 21 May.
In this regard, local military personnel are selling rice, cooking oil, salt, meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, onions, garlics as well as instant noodles, biscuits, Shwe Phe Oo instant teas, canned meats and foods produced by Tatmadaw factories and Myanmar Economic Cooperation at a cheaper price than the current price, it is reported.
