International Community Delivering Relief Supplies to Myanmar

International organization and countries are delivering relief items and foodstuffs to be used in the relief and rehabilitation activities for the cyclone-hit victims in the areas where damage and loss occurred due to the Cyclone Mocha. On 26 June, C-130 cargo plane of Indonesia's military carrying a total of weight over 13.594 tonnes of emergency supplies donated by ASEAN arrived at Yangon International Airport.

Officials from ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre) and Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein inspected the items. Moreover, the donated items will be delivered quickly to all the people in areas affected by the natural disaster, it is reported.
