Wunna Kyaw Htin Title Conferred on Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Dr. Nikolay Listopadov for Excellent Performance

The Chairman of the State Administration Council has conferred the Wunna Kyaw Htin title on Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Dr Nikolay Listopadov for his outstanding performance with Republic of the Union of Myanmar State Administration Council Notification No 113/2023 on 26 June.

The following facts are about Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Dr Nikolay Listopadov –

• He served duty at the Russian Federation embassy to Myanmar from 1983 to 1986 and from 1990 to 1994. He presented his credentials as the ambassador to Myanmar in October 2016.
• He can speak and write Myanmar language well. From the time he served his duties at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation until he became Russian Ambassador to Myanmar, he mainly carried out Myanmar-Russian bilateral relationship.
• He established close relations between two countries, developed friendship with successive governments of Myanmar.
• He also served the duties of Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Myanmar and wrote the Buddhism literature in Russian language.
• He set up the close Myanmar-Russia relationship and cooperation in the term of State Administration Council.

Therefore, the Chairman of State Administration Council has conferred Wunna Kyaw Htin title for excellent performances on Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Dr Nikolay Listopadov.
