Union Election Commission Approves Registration of Political Parties

Among 50 political applying to be registered, the Union Election Commission (UEC) has already allowed political parties with registration numbers from (1) to (27) to register under Article 9 of the Political Parties Registration Law. On 24 June, UEC allowed the Shan and Ethnics Democratic Party (White Tiger Party) with registration number 28, the Democratic Party with number 29,  the Democratic Forces Labour Party with number 30, and the Women’s Party (Mon) with number 30 respectively.
