Member of the State Administration Council U Wunna Maung Lwin and Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing Meet Delegation led by Mr. Sholban Kara-Ool, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation

U Wunna Maung Lwin, member of the State Administration Council and U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation met the Russian State Duma delegation led by Mr. Sholban Kara-Ool, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, at respective ministries in Nay Pyi Taw on 29 May.

• During the meeting between U Wunna Maung Lwin, member of the State Administration Council and the Russian State Duma delegation led by Mr. Sholban Kara-Ool, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the friendly bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, as well as closer collaboration in multilateral contexts.
• During the meeting between the Union Minister International Cooperation and the Russian State Duma delegation led by Mr. Sholban Kara-Ool, both sides cordially exchanged views on the further consolidation of the existing ties of friendship between Myanmar and Russia, expansion of bilateral cooperation including trade, economic, social and tourism sectors, and enhancement of cooperation through regional and international organizations.

The meetings were attended by officials from respective ministries, it is reported.
