Regarding the instructions that the enhancement of school attendance rates and student transition rates addressed by the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the Myanmar National Education Conference 2023, the SAC member U Maung Ko discussed at the Universities and Basic Education High Schools in Aungmyaythazan, Mahaaungmyay, Amarapura and PyinOoLwin Districts of Mandalay Region from 22 to 24 May as follows:
- The G-9 and G-12 level new curricula training are being conducted at the relevant Universities and Basic Education Shools aiming to enable the teachers to teach the students perfectly on school days.
- For the enhancement of future of education in Myanmar, all need to make concerted efforts for the improvement of educational qualification of the entire people as a national duty.
- The teachers need to constantly strive for the improvement of their creative thinking and skills always.
- They need to try to be good service personnel who are dutifully serving their assigned duties dedicating to the prestige and works of teacher and being loyalty to the State.
- In order for those who have passed the KG+9 education and faced difficulties to attend the high school education level, the government is making arrangements to open technical and industrial, agriculture and livestock courses in 50 basic education high schools in 50 districts including five schools in Mandalay Region starting June.
The events were attended by rectors, professors (heads of departments), instructors, deputy directors-general and officials from region education offices, districts/townships planning and administration committee chairmen and officials, headmasters/headmistresses, basic education school teachers from G-9 and G-12 new curricula multiplier training courses, teachers from basic education high, middle and primary-level schools, students’ parents and school council members.
