The Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win attended and addressed the second coordination meeting between Steering Committee for Holding Myanmar National Education Conference 2023 and Working Committee held on 12 May stressing the following points –
- The forthcoming education conference will be the first education conference to be jointly organized by 11 education-related ministries.
- With the aim of ensuring development of human resources and improvement of future education areas from time to time, paper reading and talks will be held at the conference.
- The Special Four-Year Education Development Plan was made and implemented from 2000-2001 fiscal year to 2003-2004 fiscal year. Besides, the 30-year Long-term National Education Plan was made from the 2001-2002 fiscal year to 2030-2031 fiscal year with six five-year plans.
- The Vice-Senior General then urged the subcommittees to submit work done on holding the conference and openly discuss work to be done in detail.
Afterwards, Chairman of the Working Committee Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe briefed preparedness on successfully holding the conference. Next, officials of the subcommittees concerned reported on work done for holding the conference and submitted the need to coordinate and cooperate.
Later, the Vice-Senior General, Chairman of Steering Committee for Holding Myanmar National Education Conference 2023 made coordination on the reports and suggestions and gave concluding remarks on the meeting.
