Union Ministers Receive Former President of the Foreign Correspondent Club of Japan (FCCJ) Mr. Khaldon Azhari

Union Ministers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of International Cooperation, Ministry of Information and Ministry of Commerce received a delegation led by Former President of the Foreign Correspondent Club of Japan (FCCJ) Mr. Khaldon Azhari at the relevant ministries on 10 and 11 May, respectively. During the calls, they discussed the following points:

  • During the meeting with Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, they frankly exchanged views on the latest developments of Myanmar and efforts to ensure peace and stability, and rule of law of the country, and matters related to media development and international media.
  • During the meeting with Union Minister for International Cooperation, they cordially discussed undertakings of the Myanmar’s Government for ensuring peace and stability, and rule of law, and real political situations of Myanmar, and matters related to international media.
  • During the meeting with Union Minister for Information, they cordially discussed cooperation in the media sector, and the reformation and upgrading of The Global New Light of Myanmar newspaper.
  • During the meeting with Union Minister for Commerce, the Union Minister explained the trading status of Myanmar and commercial issues that can be associated with the Middle-East market and the economy, investment matters and prospects of fields enabling to cooperate queried by Mr. Khaldon Azhari.

The FCCJ ex-president and party during their tour visited the Gems Museum and paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image being carved in the Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw, it is reported.
