Efforts Made to Increase Export Volume in Fiscal Year of 2022-2023

During the tenure of the State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase export volume via border trade posts and regular trade routes. As a result:

• From 1 April 2022 to the end of March 2023 in the fiscal year of 2022-2023, Myanmar shipped over 1,900 tonnes of honey to foreign, earning more than USD 2.8 million.
• From 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 in the fiscal year of 2022-2023, Myanmar shipped 1,919,156.1 tonnes of assorted pulses to foreign, earning more than USD 1,470.661 million
• From 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023, Myanmar shipped CMP products that earned a total of USD 10, 906.71 million: USD 4,011.776 million via government agencies and USD 6,894.934 million via private sector.

         From 1 to 4 April, Kawthaung trade post reached the trade value worth of USD 1.218 million; export value of USD 0.618 million from the export of  542 tonnes and import value USD 0.6 million from the import of 477 tonnes and 4,190 BBL, it is reported.
