Tatmadaw special medical team including military specialists, doctors and nurses provided healthcare services to a total of 504 local people in Warchat village and surrounding villages of Sagaing township on 5 April.
114 patients who need medical treatments, 44 patients who need surgical operations, 28 patients with obstetric/gynecologic diseases, 59 patients with pediatric diseases, 40 orthopedic diseases, 10 patients with ENT related diseases, 169 patients with eye diseases and 34 patients with dental and oral diseases were given necessary medical treatments. Among the patients, five patients who need general operation and 22 others who need eye surgery were undergone necessary surgical operations by mobile surgical unit. Moreover, diagnoses and treatments were also provided to 35 patients who need to take X-ray scans, 38 ultrasound scanning patients, 192 patients who need to receive laboratory tests, 42 cardiologic patients undergoing ECG procedures.
The patients who need to take medical treatment were sent to military hospitals and the officials encouraged them and coordinated with their necessary requirements, it is reported.
