On 15 March, while U Lwing Moe Aye together with his sister, Ma Zin Moe Aye and his nephew, Mg Aung Zar Ni Hein living in Kyaung village of Ye township of Mon state were going to Ye township for receiving medical treatments by a vehicle, PDF terrorists fired small weapons at the vehicle. In the attack, U Lwin Moe Aye was dead on the spot with gunshot wounds and Ma Zin Moe Aye and Mg Aung Zar Ni Hein got gunshot wounds respectively.
PDF terrorists having political extremism are committing acts of terrorism, such as firing heavy weapons/small arms at non-military targets of villages and townships where innocent people live; bombing on vehicles running on roads and blowing up bridges. Moreover, they are committing the inhumane violent crimes such as brutal killings of innocent civilians including children who do not support them by accusing them of “informers/dalans”. Therefore, the entire population condemns their acts of terrorism and feels hatred for the terrorists.
It is reported that security force members are taking necessary measures to identify, apprehend, and take punitive legal action against the terrorists who violently attacked innocent civilians in the above-mentioned incident.
