State Administration Council Member Union Minister at the Union Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Mr. Deng Xijun and delegation on 6 March at respective ministries in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed Myanmar-China friendly cooperation and further cooperation to promote peace and along the border area between Myanmar and China. With regard to peace and national consolidation process, they also exchanged views on progress in and implementation of Myanmar’s peace processes and exchange gifts, it is reported.
