The ceremonies in commemoration of the 76th Anniversary Union Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar which falls on 12 February were organized in respective regions and states, and self-administered zones/division. The ceremonies were attended by chief ministers of region and state, commanders of respective commands and officials, state-level departmental officials, social welfare organizations, students and locals.
The chief ministers of region and state, commanders and those present at the ceremonies saluted the National Flag, fallen heroes and soldiers, and relevant officials read out the message sent by the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing to mark 76th Anniversary Union Day.
At the events, the officials inaugurated the exhibition to mark the 76th Union Day including ministry galleries of regional development sector, transportation sector, rural areas development sector, social, economic, education, and health, agricultural sectors, galleries of electrification in regions and states, Myanmar Police Force’s galleries, Myanmar Fire Brigade’s galleries, literature galleries, and vegetables and fruits galleries and sports competition, and viewed round the exhibition.
In the evening, the ceremonies with funfairs and decorated lights were organized in respective regions and states, and self-administered zones/division, it is reported.
