A dinner in honour of the 76th Anniversary Union Day of the year 2023 hosted by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla was held at the square in front of City Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 12 February.
At the event, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife and SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win and wife cordially greeted the attendees, members of ethnic culture troupes from regions and states, chairmen and representatives of political parties, leaders and representatives of NCA-signatory EAOs, Ministers for ethnic affairs of regions and states, Deputy Ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Union Ministers, Union level officials and SAC members.
Afterwards, the Senior General and wife enjoyed the dinner together with the attendees and watched the display of fireworks and night sky drone-shows honouring the 76th Anniversary Union Day of the year 2023.
After the dinner, the Senior General and wife together with attendees enjoyed the ethnic traditional dances and variety dances staged by artistes of Fine Arts Department (FAD) of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and ethnic culture troupes at the open-air theatre of City Hall. After the entertainment program, the Senior General and wife presented flower baskets to the members of ethnic culture troupes, it is reported.
