The Youth Affairs Committee Festival to Mark the 76th Anniversary Union Day and Welcome the Peace Talks Held in Mandalay Region

Mandalay Region government organized the Youth Affairs Committee Festival to mark the 76th Anniversary Union Day and welcome the peace talks for the nationwide ceasefire of government at Mandala Thiri Stadium of Mandalay region on 28 January. The Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko, the Commander of Central Command, Mandalay region Government Ministers, town elders, locals, teachers and students of universities/basic education schools, totaling 30,000 people attended the event.

Welcoming the peace talks organized by the State Administration Council, the students from various universities in Mandalay region discussed the matters related to the delay in the development of their states and the country is due to the lack of peace. If peace is achieved, they will enjoy fruits and benefits of peace.

Afterwards, the region Chief Minister, the Commander of Central Command and the attendees observed the booths of respective universities for high school students/students to be able to correctly choose and attend the universities of their choice and to enrich their knowledge, dances and entertainment performed by Myoma Musical Troupe, medically affiliated universities, technical related universities, Universities of Arts and Sciences, basic education schools, and Satuditha pavilions served by town elders and locals, it is reported.
