On 24 January, members of KNDO Battalion (6) who support terrorism and PDF terrorists arrived at Kanni village from Tada-U village in Kawkaraik Township by two vehicles. As they then set fire to the village administrator’s office for no reason, the 12 ft-long, 3 ft-wide and 15 ft-in high office building was burnt to the ground. Moreover, as they carried out lawless intimidations and violent acts against the local people, the latter has been moving their nearest relatives’ houses for safety.
PDF terrorists under the NUG and CRPH, in combination with members of KNDO Battalion (6) who support terrorism, have been carrying out various acts of terrorism, such as burning down residential houses as well as office/departmental buildings and making lawless intimidations.
It is reported that security personnel are pursuing necessary security measures to take legal action against terrorists and have peace and stability in the area.
