On 21 January, PDF terrorists blew up the Thabyay Chaung reinforced concrete bridge at a distance of around 1,000 metre to the south-west of the Thagara village on the road connection from the Hnit Kayin village to the Thagara village in Thanbyuzayat Township of Mon State. During the attack, around 10 ft in diameter collapsed on the floor of the bridge near the approach to the south of the bridge.
Terrorists have been destroying non-military targets of state-owned buildings, privately owned ones and residential houses. In addition to those acts, they are carrying out motiveless bomb attacks on roads and bridges. Due to the sabotages of the terrorists, the entire population are facing difficulties in transport and communications. Accordingly, they feel disgust at and deep hatred for terrorists’ acts.
It is reported that security personnel are pursuing necessary security actions to identify and arrest the terrorists who blew up the bridge.
