Terrorists Blow up Yout Tawa Creek Bridge in Thandaunggyi Township

On 17 January, terrorists blew up a 270-ft long, 12-ft wide and 15-ft high Yout Tawa Creek Bridge connecting Thabyay  Nyunt, Motti Myaung and Zin Tai villages in Thandaunggyi Township of Kayin State. Since the reinforced concrete bridge collapsed during the mine attack, people and vehicles are not able to cross the creek.

Terrorists having political extremism have been blowing up non-military targets of state-owned buildings, privately-owned ones and residential houses. In addition to those acts, they are carrying out motiveless bomb attacks on roads and bridges. The entire population facing difficulties in road and communications feel disgust at and deep hatred for the terrorists.

Concerned authorities, in collaboration with security personnel, are taking measures the quickest to do repair works of the destroyed bridge. It is reported that security personnel are pursuing necessary actions to identify and arrest the terrorists.
