During the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase the export volume via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard, efforts are being made as follows:
- From 1st April to 30th December of this fiscal year, a total of US$ 118.74 million were earned from the export of forestry products: US$ 2.255 million via government agencies and US$ 116.485 million via private enterprises. The excess of US$ 15.265 million were earned in this fiscal year by comparison with the same period in the previous fiscal year.
- Within four-month period, from September to December 2022, Myanmar exported over 200,000 tonnes of corn to foreign markets.
Within nine-month period, from 1st April to 30th December in this fiscal year, Myanmar generated a total of foreign income of US$ 12,444.639 million from the export of agro-products, animal products, aquatic products, mineral products, forestry products, CMP products and other products to foreign markets, it is reported.
