Efforts Made to Increase Export Volume in Fiscal Year of 2022-2023

During the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase the export volume via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard, efforts are being made as follows:

• Within nine-month period, from 1^st April to 30^th December of this fiscal year, a total of US$ 222.341 million were earned from the export of mineral products: US$ 16.151 million via government agencies and US$ 206.19 million via private enterprises.  
• Within six-month period, from 20^th June to 31^st December 2022, Myanmar exported 4,793.688 tonnes of crab and 9,037.92 tonnes of eel.

From 1^st April to 30^th December in this fiscal year, Myanmar generated a total of foreign income of 12,444.639 million from the export of agro-products, animal products, aquatic products, mineral products, forestry products, CMP products and other products to foreign markets, it is reported.
