Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Holds Talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN

The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, who arrived here to pay a working visit to Myanmar, at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw on 7 January.

The Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister welcomed the Cambodian Prime Minister and they then posed for documentary photos. Afterwards, the Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister and the Cambodian Prime Minister cordially discussed the following points:

· They exchanged views on the promotion of diplomatic relations, friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries, the progress of the internal peace process in Myanmar and assistances to be rendered by the special envoy of the ASEAN Chair and Cambodia.

· Moreover, they cordially exchanged views on the undertakings of Myanmar in accord with the five-point consensus of ASEAN, the prevention of COVID-19 and humanitarian aid, and efforts of the State Administration Council in development of the nation in accord with the five-point road map.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister together with officials, Union Ministers. The Cambodian Prime Minister accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Mr PRAK Sokhonn, Senior Minister, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation H.E. Mr CHAM Prasidh, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, Secretary-General of the Council of the Development H.E.  Mr Sok Chenda Sophea, and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces  and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army Lt. Gen. Hun Maneth attended the meeting.

  • The Chairman of the SAC Prime Minister and the Cambodian Prime Minister cordially exchanged views on the progress of the internal peace process in Myanmar and assistances to be rendered by the special envoy of the ASEAN Chair and Cambodia, the undertakings of Myanmar in accord with the five-point consensus of ASEAN, and efforts of the State Administration Council in development of the nation in accord with the five-point road map.
