On 22 December, so-called PDF terrorists entered the township agriculture department of Salingyi township of Sagaing region and forcibly took the department-owned properties: two New Holland 40 HP tractors, a 7-foot-long Rotavator, a toolbox, an Air Compressor, and 300 gallons of diesel. Likewise, the terrorists then entered the township cooperative department after breaking down the doors and looted a CD-100 N hand-tractor, a RISO copier, a water-pumping motor, an electric fan, 1000 fibre chairs from there. They also took three boxes of legal paper, three boxes of A3 paper and stationary items worth around K500,000 from “Shwe Pyi Lin” cooperative shop inside the department area.
Similarly, on 23 December, so-called PDF terrorists entered the seed harvesting farm of seed sub-department of township agriculture department of Yay-U township. They then held two farm workers (U Myo Lwin (47) and U Maung Tun (25)) at gunpoint and forcibly took a New Holland 40 HP tractor, and the hand phone belonging to U Myo Lwin. Before leaving the farm, they set up two IEDs attached to two motorbike batteries and therefore, security forces arrived there and deactivated and cleared the IEDs.
Local security force members continue necessary security measures to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the above-mentioned crimes, it is reported.
