Efforts Made to Increase Export Volume in Fiscal Year of 2022-2023

        During the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase the export volume via border trade posts and regular trade routes. Within eight-month period, from 1st April to 30th November in this fiscal year, the following efforts were made:

  • US$ 491.121 million were earned from the total export of 309,294.307 tonnes of aquatic products.
  • Over eight-month period, from 1st April to 9th December in the fiscal year of 2022-2023, a total of US$ 7,894.269 million: US$ 2,742.364 million via government agencies and 5,151.905 million via private sector were earned from the export of CMP products.
  • As US$ 5,838.217 million were earned from exporting CMP products in the same period of the previous fiscal year, an excess of US$ 2,056.052 million were earned in this fiscal year than the previous fiscal year.

A total of US$ 11,535.096 million were earned from the export of agro-products, animal products, aquatic products, mineral products, forestry products, CMP products and other products to abroad. It is reported that CMP products earned the highest income among others.
