Ground Survey Groups will Simultaneously Collect Population Data across Nation within 23 Days

The State Administration Council organized Central Supervising Committee for Collection of Population Data on Ground and assigned it to ensure correctness of population data. Likewise, the Central Committee has already formed the regions/states/district/township/ward and village-tract supervising committees and working group (ground survey group), and also assigned the duties.

In this regard, the Chairman of Central Supervising Committee for Collection of Population Data on Ground Union Minister U Myint Kyaing said that the population data collection process is to be carried out across the nation and the methods to be completed within a short period of setting time and acquired the accurate population list will be given in the training course, at the opening ceremony  of central level instructor training course organized by the Central Commiittee.

The working groups (ground survey groups) will collect the population data at the same time across the nation within 23 days from 9^th to 31^st January, 2023.
