PDF Terrorists Blow up Transmission Towers Carrying Power Cables to Kawkaraik and Kyarinnseikgyi Townships from Thingannyinaung

On 30 November, PDF terrorists blew up 66 KV power lines tower no (45), (46) and (47) that carry power cables to Kawkaraik and Kyarinnseikgyi Townships from Thingannyinaung. It is reported that the electricity has gone off because the transmission towers fell in the bomb attack.

CRPH and NUG terrorist groups formed the PDF terrorist groups and committing various acts of terrorism against non-military targets of infrastructures for the public to paralyze the administrative mechanism of the government and disturb the development in the region. Therefore, security personnel are investigating to take legal actions under the law against those who committed acts of terrorism.

From 1 February 2021 to 29 November 2022, PDF terrorists blew up and set fire to a total of 504 transmission towers. While Ministry of Electric Power is doing repair works of destroyed transmission towers for several times, terrorists launch attacks on electrical service personnel that left 19 killed and 56 got injured. However, the Ministry of Electric Power continues to make repeated repair works in collaboration with security personnel in concerned areas.
