China hosted the 1st conference of the Cooperation of Worldwide People Security Forum from 29 to 30 November online. Myanmar Delegation led by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Chief of Myanmar Police Force Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet virtually joined the conference.
During the conference, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of the Ministry of Public Security Mr. Wang Xiaohong gave a speech and Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet said that international cooperation must be strengthened in order to effectively solve the current challenges and obstacles.
The conference was attended by deputy prime ministers, ministers of home affairs, deputy ministers, chiefs of the police forces and ambassadors of China, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Viet Nam, Russia, Belarus, Hungary, Spain, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Solomon, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Israel, and the President and the Vice-President of Interpol, 400 representatives in total from 38 countries. The conference was held under three topics such as the forums on Security and Development, Information Security, and Commandants of Police Academies, it is reported.
