Some 10 PDF terrorists with small arms each arrived at the ward administrator’s house in Aung Thiri street of ward (3) in Pala town of Palaw Township in Taninthayi region on 25 November. They threatened all family members of the ward administrator that they would kill them all if the latter did not open the door. They then destroyed household furniture and forcibly took gold-ware of 16 and one fourth tical and around 3 million kyats. Moreover, they bombed the house and also planted two homemade mines in the house.
Extremists of terrorists are carrying out various acts of terrorism to disturb the peace and stability in the State. Additionally, they are threatening and making bomb attack on residential houses, aiming to displace innocent civilians. The entire population expresses disgust at and wishes to apprehend terrorists who are robbing property of people so as to face harsh legal consequences.
Security force members went to the scene and deactivated two IEDs planted by PDF terrorists in the house under security procedures. They continue necessary measures for blockade and search to arrest those PDF terrorists.
