The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony to present the prizes in Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) Sports Competitions for 2022 which was held at Zeyathiri Tatmadaw Sports Ground in Nay Pyi Taw on 25 November.
In the final match of the 59th Defence Services Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy (Army, Navy and Air) A-Class Football Tournament, the attendees watched the football match of the Central Command team and the Yangon Command team. As a result, the Yangon Command team thumbed up its victory with a 1-0 win over the Central Command team.
Then, the prize awarding ceremony of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) Sports Competitions for 2022 continued, and the Chairman of the SAC Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services presented the championship shield of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) team holding 50 golds, 35 silvers and 37 bronzes, totalling 122 medals to the team administration officer and players.
Later, Vice-Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services presented the first prize trophy of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, a duplicate trophy and a cash award to the first prize winner teams. Then, the officials presented the trophy, cash awards and individual medals for best player awards to the prize winner teams representing respective military commands, respectively.
Also present at the ceremony along with the Chairman of the SAC Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing were his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Union ministers and their wives, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, officers, other ranks and families of battalions/ units under the Nay Pyi Taw Command, and athletes.
