Fish, shrimp and other fishery products are regularly being exported to more than 40 foreign countries, and over US$ 235 million were earned from exporting fishery products during three months of the 2021-2022 financial year starting from October 1 to December 30.
During the period from 1 October to 30 December 2021:
· 61,055.079 metric tons of fish, shrimp and fishery products were exported to abroad via regular trade route, generating US$ 132.078 million.
· 94,541.027 metric tons of fish, shrimp and fishery products were exported via border trade posts, generating US$103.446 million.
· US$ 235.524 million were generated by exporting a total of 155,596.106 metric tons of fishery products.
US$ 235.162 million were earned from exporting the fish, shrimp and fishery products within three months of 2020-2021FY. Compared to the same period last year, an excess of US$ 0.362 million in the export was earned this year.
