At the invitation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce–ICC, the Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo attended the annual plenary meeting of the Indian Chamber of Commerce–ICC held at ITC Sonar Hotel in Kolkata of India on 11th November, 2022 as an honorable guest.
The Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo attended the annual plenary meeting of the Indian Chamber of Commerce–ICC and held bilateral calls. At the special session of the meeting on India-Myanmar Trade Relations, Union Minister discussed on the matters of using the currencies of both countries to boost the bilateral trade; matters relating to organizing goods exhibitions and promoting cooperation of the merchants from both countries; the measures to enhance the cooperation in the layers of international, regional and bilateral; and the prospects of boosting bilateral trade and investments.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation, Minister of State for External Affairs and Education, Myanmar Ambassador to India, Chairman of Indian Chamber of Commerce – ICC and members, Chairman of Engineering Export Promotion Council – EEPC, Chairman of Trade with ASEAN member States, chairman and members of Federation of Indian Export Organization-FIEO, Indian merchants and investors and invited guests.
