On 6 November, the Tatmadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) with the Tatmadaw Mobile Medical Team onboard provided healthcare services to local people in Yangon region, Cocokyun township, Pali Pale Island, Hainggyikyun, villages and townships along the Irrawaddy River. On 9 and 10 November, the Tatmadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) provided healthcare services to local people in Hainggyikyun township of Ayeyarwady region. The 2,002 local patients in total including 566 patients who need medical treatments, 169 patients who need surgical operations, 119 patients with obstetric/gynecologic diseases, 126 patients with pediatric diseases, 347 orthopedic diseases, 93 patients with ENT related diseases, 504 patients with eye diseases, 78 patients with dental and oral diseases were given medical treatment.
One patient who needs major surgical operation and 30 eye patients were provided necessary surgical operations. Moreover, diagnoses and treatments were also provided to 11 patients who need to take X-ray scans, 75 ultrasound scanning patients, 114 cardiologic patients undergoing ECG procedures and 140 patients who need to receive laboratory tests. Officers, other ranks and their family members from regional naval base command provided lunch boxes and nutritious food to locals who received medical treatment, it is reported.
