Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win Inspects Defence Services Specialty Orthopaedic Hospital (500-bed), Special Care Centre at DSGH (1,000-bed), and Defence Services Liver Speciality Hospital

The Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the Commander of Yangon Command, went to the Defence Services Specialty Orthopaedic Hospital (500-bed), the special care centre at Defence Services General Hospital (1,000-bed) and Defence Services Liver Specialty Hospital in Mingaladon Township on 28 October, and comforted officers, other ranks and families receiving medical treatments there.

In this regard, the Vice-Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) and party heard reports on medical treatments, and the undertakings of four military building tasks presented by the respective commandant officers at the meeting halls of relevant hospitals. After hearing the reports, the Vice-Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Sciences coordinated necessary measures and asked about the diseases of the patients individually and presented foodstuffs and aid.

 The Vice-Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) and party went to Defence Services Liver Specialty Hospital, and encouraged two patients who received liver transplant operations for the first time in the Tatmadaw on 27 and 28 September as a gesture of hailing the Diamond Jubilee Medical Corps Day, and presented foodstuffs to those patients and cash awards to military specialists and medical officers from the Tatmadaw who successfully performed the liver transplant operations.
