The closing ceremony of the 2022 Mid-Year Gems Emporium was held at the Maniradana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 25 October.
Through the open tender system, 362 pearl lots out of 400, 55 gem lots out of 120 and 1,836 jade lots out of 2150 were on sale at the 2022 Mid-Year Gems Emporium for over 2,960 local and foreign gem merchants from 529 gems and jewellery Companies between 20 and 25 October.
It is reported that over 252 foreign gem dealers from Gems and Jewellery Companies in China, Russia, India and Thailand and over 2,708 local gem dealers from 411 local Gems and Jewellery Companies observed the emporium.
