The 2022 Mid-Year Gems Emporium has continued at the Maniradana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw starting from 19 October. Local and foreign gem traders observed pearl lots, jade lots, gem lots and uncut jade lots being showcased in designated areas in and outside of Maniradana Jade Hall.
At the 2022 Mid-Year Gems Emporium between 20 and 23 October, and 362 of 400 pearl lots, 55 of 120 gem lots and 655 of 750 jade lots have been sold out. The rest jade lots will be sold out from 24 to 25 October.
The floor price for gem and jade lots is set in Euro, and foreign merchants can make a payment in USD, Euro, Yuan, Baht currencies while local merchant can make payment in Kyat currency.
Above 270 gem merchants from 109 gem and jewellery companies of People's Republic of China, Laos, Hong Kong, India and Thailand, and more than 2,750 local gem merchants from 411 local gem and jewellery companies, a total of 3,020 gem and jewellery companies joined the event.
