Central Bank of Myanmar Governor Daw Than Than Swe held talks with officials from Monitoring and Steering Committee on Gold and Currency Market at the Zambu Thiri Hall of Central Bank of Myanmar on 14 September.
During the talks, the CBM governor discussed plans to be provided by banks for a steady gold and currency market when banking system is used to pay money in trading gold bullion. She added, further plans to be provided by relevant Ministries, and Central Bank of Myanmar and measures to be further cooperated between gold entrepreneurs and departmental officials.
Secretary of Monitoring and Steering Committee on Gold and Currency Market and departmental directors as well as managing directors, acting in their capacities as Chairmen of sub-committees, briefed the tasks completed and future plans, it is reported.
