Union Minister Lt.Gen. Soe Htut Meets Police Force Members, Staff and Family Members of Departments

      State Administration Council member, the Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt.Gen Soe Htut met and encouraged staff and family members of departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs at the hall of the state general administration department in Sittwe city,   the office of the Chief of state police force, and other security police force units on 4 September, and the headquarters of Myo Thagyi and Kyeegan Pyin border guard police force in Maung Taw area on 5 September respectively. In the meet, the Union Minister for Home Affairs said the following points:

  • Border guard police force members sacrificed their lives for the State in the fight in defence of their outpost that was attacked by ethnic armed organizations with excessive force, holding to the motto “Our outpost shall never fall until we die”. They deserve to be honoured.
  • All of the police force members are required to successfully carry out security duties stated in the 12 traditions of the Tatmadaw, doing hand in hand with the Tatmadaw, abiding by 70 codes of ethics for police force members.
  • It is necessary to escalate the plan of action of five military columns movement together with people security teams that is set by the State.
  • The Union Minister for Home Affairs said to family members to do the agriculture and livestock farming on a manageable scale. Then, he had a frank and cordial chat with police force members as well as their families, and fulfilled the requirements.

      During his tour, the Union minister inspected the maintenance work of fire engines at the State Fire Brigade in Maungtaw area; the detailed condition of food and accommodation for the prisoners in the Sittwe prison, water, electricity and waste services of the buildings. Afterwards, he also inspected the work of putting data of household list (type 66/6) into server with the use of the E-ID Software Programme and coordinated the reports of officials.
