Dili Dialogue Forum (DDF) of Southeast Asian Press Council Network (SEAPC-Net) Held in Timor-Leste

On 25 and 26 August 2022, the Dili Dialogue Forum under the title of Media Challenges in Timor-Leste and Southeast Asia was held in Timor-Leste, and attended by Myanmar delegation together with chairs of press councils from Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Timor-Leste.

At the forum, Myanmar delegation precisely clarified the current events in Myanmar with the use of figures. Therefore, the attendees expressed their astonishment over the presentation at the forum in comparison with the fake news of Myanmar mentioned in the international media, it is reported.
