To attend the closing ceremony of the International Army Games 2022 held in the Russian Federation, a Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win left Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of 25 August and arrived in Moscow, the Russian Federation in the evening of Local Standard Time.
On 26 August, the Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win went to Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and met Russian Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin. They, then, frankly discussed the plans to be carried out with mutual respect, trust and support between the two armed forces. After the meeting, the two leaders exchanged gifts, it is reported.
