On 25 August, local Tatmadawmen from the Central Command sold cooked rice with curries; canned meat as well as canned fish and foodstuffs manufactured by Tatmadaw-owned factories; rice, cooking oil, salt, meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, onion, garlic, and tomato produced from small-scale and all-round agriculture and livestock farming to veterans, health staff, civil servants and local residents at a cheaper price than the current price during the period of taking COVID-19 prevention measures, aiming for food security in the region as well as food convenience, it is reported.
