The socio-economic development of national races and ethnicities are interdependent with national unity and peace. With an intent to ensure the civil servants and staff from the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs as well as the members of Ethnic Literature and Culture emphasize the interests of ethnic people by applying their accumulated knowledges and wisdoms in doing the ethnic affairs, the event of awareness speeches was held for second time on 24 August.
During the event, State Administration Council member Daw Aye Nu Sein explained that literature will help understand the cultural customs and traditions of respective ethnic groups and accordingly, friendly relations among ethnic people develop. Moreover, reading will also enable people to acquire knowledges and perform the interests of people, community, the world and the Nation by using the knowledges. Member of Advisory Team of the State Administration Council Chairman Dr. Yin Yin Nwe made a speech under the topic of ‘Differential Treatment of Different Countries’.
It is reported that the event was attended by State Administration Council member Daw Aye Nu Sein, Member of Advisory Team of the State Administration Council Chairman Dr. Yin Yin New, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint.
