Union Minister Lieutenant General Yar Pyae, Member of the State Administration Council, received the delegation led by Ms. Noeleen Heyzar, special envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Myanmar at the Ministry of Union Government Office -1 on 18 August. During the meeting, both sides cordially and frankly exchanged views on the implementation of Myanmar’s peace process and the provision of humanitarian assistance.
Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Myanmar, Ms Noeleen Heyzer, departed from Myanmar on 18 August 2022 and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs saw her off at the Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw International Airports respectively.
